Hi, welcome to American Football Wiki! Thanks for your edit to the Talk:Penn State Nittany Lions page.

Hi. I made changes to your 2016 Penn State Nittany Lions page. The page didn't conform to the way we have this Wiki set up. I left all of your text alone, but just commented it out, so you can see the difference between my work and yours. It's easier to see if you go into the source code mode. Feel free to ask any questions about the changes and the style of this Wiki. Will49 (talk) 03:14, October 16, 2014 (UTC)
sorry 19mspyker 03:54, October 16, 2014 (UTC)
No need to apologize. We aren't as fancy or uptight as Wikipedia is. If you are willing to learn, we are willing to teach. And maybe you can create a complete historical record of Penn State seasons here. Do you want to learn? Will49 (talk) 07:43, October 16, 2014 (UTC)
Thank you, I got blocked on wikipedia for what they call "vandalising" when they don't give you f****** lessons of how to edit. They want people to help but they don't tell you how. 19mspyker 12:19, October 16, 2014 (UTC)
Whenever you leave any personal message, end it with "~", typed four times in a row. That automatically puts your account name and the time and date at the end of the message.
And something else: go find the page here called "American Football sandbox", then bookmark it. If you just search for the word "sandbox" it will find it. A sandbox is designed for users to experiment or practice their Wiki skills. You can do almost anything in the sandbox without causing problems, and we can help tutor you along there.
So here is something to try: go into the source code for 2016 Penn State Nittany Lions, copy the entire file into the sandbox, and try to figure out some of the commands. Once we get you up to speed on the Wiki language here, you can request to be allowed to edit Wikipedia again.
Regarding the sandbox: Just treat it like a big blank page. There will be a thing in brackets at the top, but just leave that alone (you'll understand why later). Put whatever you want in the rest, and edit and change it to your heart's content. Another idea for starting a page from scratch in the sandbox is Penn State's 2010 season.Will49 (talk) 18:49, October 16, 2014 (UTC)
