The St. Olaf Oles football team represents St. Olaf College located in Northfield, Minnesota. The Oles are a member of the NCAA Division III Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and play their home games at Manitou Field in Northfield. The Oles are curretly coached by James Killan.
In 1977, St. Olaf played the Carleton (MN) Knights in an NCAA-sponsored metric game in which plays were measured in meters instead of yards. Dubbed the "Liter Bowl", the visiting Oles defeated the Knights 43-0.
