South Alabama Jaguars

The South Alabama Jaguars football team represents the University of South Alabama located in Mobile, Alabama. The Jaguars are a member of the NCAA FBS Sun Belt Conference, which they joined in 2012. The Jaguars first fielded a football team in 2009 and played its first full varsity schedule in 2010 as an FCS Independent.

The Jaguars play their home games at Hancock Whitney Stadium, which opened on campus in 2020. Previously South Alabama played its home games at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile. The Jaguars are currently coached by Major Applewhite.
