Mary-Anne Hanson is a quarterback with the BC Angels. One of several mothers on the Angels, she led the squad to the first-ever LFL Canada championship.
Playing career
BC Angels
Her 206 passing yards led all LFL Canada passers, while her 6 passing touchdowns tied with Saskatoon’s Anne Erler for the league lead. Hanson threw the first touchdown pass in the history of LFL Canada. In a 44-18 win over the Regina Rage, Hanson completed the touchdown pass to Aleesa Garcia.
Seattle Mist
In 2013, she would compete with Angels teammates Stevi Schnoor and Deanna Schaper-Kotter for the Seattle Mist in the Pacific Cup. Of note, she would become the first quarterback to compete in the Pacific Cup with two different teams (of note, she played for the Angels in the 2012 edition).
