Keena Turner (born October 22, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois), is a former American professional football player who was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the 2nd round of the 1980 NFL Draft and traded on draft day to the San Francisco 49ers. A 6'2" 237 pound linebacker from Purdue University, Turner played in 11 NFL seasons and spent his entire career with the 49ers from 1980-1990. A one time Pro Bowl selection, he retired from the 49ers with four Super Bowl rings.[1]
After his playing career ended, Turner served as a television co-host for 49er pre-season games. On June 5, 2008, Turner was hired by the 49ers to serve as the team's Vice President of Football Affairs, after serving in various capacities in the organization since the mid 1990s.[2]
Husband to Linda, father to Sheena, Miles, and Ella, Turner also owns a car dealership in Tracy, California.
