Christopher Jason Witten (born May 6, 1982) is a former American football tight end who played for 17 seasons of the National Football League. He played 16 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, and one season with the Las Vegas Raiders. He retired after the Cowboys season in early 2018, before coming out of retirement to play one more season with Dallas, before going to the Las Vegas Raiders team to sign for one year. At the end of the 2020 season, he retired again, only this time, retiring as a Cowboy. He played college football at Tennessee.
