Joe Thomas "J.T." Barrett is an American football quarterback currently signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers of the NFL. After a season-ending injury to incumbent starter Braxton Miller at the beginning of the 2014 season, Barrett became starter and led the team to a 10-1 regular season record before suffering a season-ending injury himself. Cardale Jones then took over and helped lead the team to the inaugural College Football Playoff Championship.

Barrett will be a redshirt junior heading into the 2016 season.
