The Idaho Vandals football team represents the University of Idaho located in Moscow, Idaho. The Vandals are a member of the NCAA FCS Big Sky Conference and play their home games at the Kibbie Dome in Moscow. The Vandals are currently coached by Jason Eck.
Prior to the 2018 season, Idaho was a football affiliate member of the FBS Sun Belt Conference. However the Sun Belt announced in 2016 that it would not continue its football agreement with the Vandals or the New Mexico State Aggies. Idaho chose to return to the Big Sky, which it had been a member of up through the 1995 season.
