The Hofstra Pride football team represented Hofstra University located in Hempstead, New York. Prior to the 2000 season, Hofstra's nickname was the Flying Dutchmen.

The team competed in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) and in their final season were members of the Colonial Athletic Association. Hofstra participated in football from 1937 to 2009, compiling an all-time record of 403–268–11. The Pride played their home games at James M. Shuart Stadium in Hempstead.

On December 3, 2009, the university announced it was terminating the football program.
