Frederick David Quillan (born January 27, 1956-died September 12, 2016) was a former professional football player who played for the NFL's San Francisco 49ers from 1978 through 1987. Fred played center for the 49ers and during that span he appeared in two Super Bowls: Super Bowl XVI and Super Bowl XIX, and was selected to the Pro Bowl twice in also being named to the NFL's All-Pro team in 1984 and 1985.[1] He played college football at the University of Oregon. He has three children: Kyle, Kenneth, and Colby.
