The Colorado State-Pueblo Thunderwolves football team represents Colorado State University-Pueblo located in Pueblo, Colorado. The football team began in 1963 but was discontinued after the 1984 season. However, the Thunderwolves football program was revived in 2008.
From 1963 through 1974, the school was known as Southern Colorado State College. From 1975 through 2002, the school was known as the University of Southern Colorado.
The Thunderwolbes are a member of the NCAA Division II Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and play their home games at the Neta & Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl (capacity 6,500) in Pueblo. The Thunderwolves are currently coached by John Wristen.
