Expansion team

An expansion team is a team added to a league. Some teams, like the Houston Texans, didn't address some of their needs, and ended up getting a bad offensive line. But other teams defied the conclusion that expansion teams are going to be bad. The Panthers started off with a 7-9 record in 1996. No expansion team finished with more than 3 wins before then.
