The end zones are located at the ends of the field. There are two end zones, one is "your own", and the other is "your opponent's". This is the one that you are trying to get to. The end zones are 10 yards long and 53 1/3 yards wide. If the opposing team enters your end zone by running or passing, they are awarded a touchdown. If you are tackled in your own end zone, the defensive team is awarded 2 points. This is called a safety
