David Paul "Dave" Clawson (born August 16, 1967)[1][2] is an American football coach and former player. He currently serves as the head football coach for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Clawson previously served as the head football coach for the Fordham Rams from 1999 to 2003, for the Richmond Spiders from 2004 to 2007, and for the Bowling Green Falcons from 2009 to 2013. Before joining Bowling Green, Clawson was the offensive coordinator for one season for the Tennessee Volunteers.
