Chris Hatcher (born February 18, 1973) is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the head coach for the Samford Bulldogs. Previously, Hatcher served as the head coach for the Murray State Racers, a position he held from 2010 to 2014. He has also served as head coach for the Valdosta State Blazers from 2000 to 2006 and the Georgia Southern Eagles from 2007 to 2009. His Valdosta State Blazers won the NCAA Division II National Football Championship in 2004. Hatcher played college football as a quarterback at Valdosta State from 1991 to 1994.
