Chattanooga Mocs.jpg

The Chattanooga Mocs football team represents the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Prior to 1997, Chattanooga's nickname was the Moccasins, but the school moved away from Native American imagery and shortened their name to the Mocs in reference to the mockingbird, the state bird of Tennessee.

The Mocs are a member of the NCAA FCS Southern Conference and play their home games at Finley Stadium in Chattanooga. The Mocs are currently coached by Rusty Wright.
