Carson Palmer (born December 27, 1979 in Fresno, California,) is a retired American football quarterback. He was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals with the 1st pick of the 2003 NFL Draft. On October 18th, 2011 the Bengals traded him to the Oakland Raiders for a 2012 1st round draft pick and a 2nd round draft pick in 2013 which would become a 1st round pick if the Raiders reach the AFC Title Game in either the 2011 or 2012 NFL Seasons. Palmer was then traded to the Arizona Cardinals for a 7th round pick.

His brother, Jordan Palmer, is a quarterback for the Sacramento Mountain Lions in the UFL.
