The Cal Poly Mustangs football team represents California Polytechnic State University located in San Luis Obispo, California. The Mustangs are currently a member of the NCAA FCS Big Sky Conference, which they joined in 2012. Previously the Mustangs were a member of the Great West Football Conference.
The Mustangs play their home games at Alex G. Spanos Stadium in San Luis Obispo and are currently coached by Tim Walsh.
