The Ave Maria Gyrenes football team represents Ave Maria University located in Ave Maria, Florida.
Ave Maria's first varsity season was in 2011 as an NAIA independent. In 2014 the Gyrenes joined the Sun Conference, and in 2016 the Gyrenes moved to the Mid-South Conference, of which they are currently a member.
The Gyrenes play their home games at Gyrene Field in Ave Maria and are currently coached by Joseph Patterson.
