Notes[]
This was Army's first season as a member of the American Athletic Conference. Previously the Black Knights played as an FBS independent.
Army was originally scheduled to face Marshall in the Independence Bowl, but the Thundering Herd opted out after head coach Charles Huff left for Southern Miss and numerous players entered the transfer portal.
