The 2014 Buffalo Bills season will be the franchise's upcoming 45th season in the National Football League and the second under head coach Doug Marrone. Founding owner Ralph Wilson died in March of 2014, leaving the team under new ownership for the first time in its history (his widow will control the trust holding the team until its eventual sale, which is expected in 2015). On February 27, 2014, the NFL announced that the Bills will play the New York Giants in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game. The game will occur on August 3, 2014, at 8:00 p.m. EDT, and will be aired by NBC.[1] The remainder of the Bills' preseason opponents were announced on April 9, 2014.
