The 2013 NFL Draft was the 78th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible football players. The draft, which is officially called the "NFL Player Selection Meeting," was held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City from April 25–27.
Selection Order
- For more details on how draft order is determined, see National Football League Draft#Rules for determining draft order .
The selection order for the first round will be as follows:
WC | = lost in Wild Card round
Div | = lost in Divisional round
Con | = lost in Conference Championship round
Lost SB | = lost in Super Bowl
Won SB | = Super Bowl Champion |
- Non-playoff teams with identical overall records rotate through their collective draft positions. Playoff teams that lose in the same round and have identical overall records rotate through their collective draft positions. Each round, the team previously at the top of a rotation drops to the bottom, while each other team moves up one spot: for example, Jacksonville will have the first pick in the second round.
- tie 1 The New York jets pick ahead of Tennessee because of a head-to-head loss in Week 15.
- not tied 1 Since Chicago failed to make the playoffs, it will pick 20th in every round.
- not tied 2 Since Indianapolis lost its first playoff game, while Seattle and Green Bay won theirs, Indianapolis will pick 24th in every round, while Seattle and Green Bay will alternate the 25th and 26th picks.
Early entrants
College football players who completed high school at least three years prior had until January 15, 2013, to declare their intention to forgo their remaining collegiate eligibility and enter the draft.
