The 2013 Minnesota Vikings season is the franchise's 53rd season in the National Football League, as well as the third full season under head coach Leslie Frazier. It will also mark the Vikings' final season playing their home games at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, as the team will temporarily play their home games at TCF Bank Stadium for the 2014 and 2015 seasons while construction of a new stadium, which is slated to open in 2016, will occur on the site of the Metrodome.

ScheduleEdit

The Vikings' preseason opponents and schedule were announced on April 4, 2013. The preseason campaign will begin against the Houston Texans at the Metrodome on August 8–10, followed by road games against the Buffalo Bills and the San Francisco 49ers; the game against the 49ers will be the Vikings' second preseason matchup against the same opposition in two years. The preseason program will conclude at home to the Tennessee Titans on August 29.[51]
