Notes[]
This was Louisiana Tech's first season as a member of the Big West Conference. Previously the Bulldogs played as an NCAA 1-A independent.
Alabama was forced to forfeit all wins in their 1993 season in which cornerback Antonio Langham played. The NCAA found Langham guilty of receiving improper benefits due to signing with an agent following the 1992 season.
