The 1977 Oakland Raiders season was the team’s 18th season, and their eighth in the NFL. They made it to the playoffs for the sixth consecutive time, winning against the Baltimore Colts in the divisional round, 37-31 in double overtime, before losing to this time their divisional rival, Denver Broncos, in the AFC Championship Game.

Playoffs[]

Oakland won the wild card playoffs in 1977 and later won the divisional playoffs in a game against the Baltimore Colts when Errol Mann tied the game with a field goal. In the second overtime, Dave Casper caught another touchdown pass for the victory.
